Heritage Prairie Farm

Cultivating great local food experiences

When we started our small, sustainable farm on the outskirts of Chicago - near Elburn, Geneva, St.Charles - we hoped our farm could become a place of celebration. A place to enjoy the important things in life— family, friends and great tasting, organic natural food. A place to slow down, even if just for a little while, and appreciate blessings.

At Heritage Prairie Farm, we grow wonderful, USDA Certified organic vegetables available through our CSA Community Supported Agriculture, at the Wheaton weekly Farmers' Market, at city restaurants and also at Whole Foods Market. Our Farm Kitchen creates amazing foods for our events & weddings, and to-go at our Farm Store. We raise and nurture honeybees and harvest local raw honey.

We are proud to announce that Heritage Prairie Farm in now USDA Certified Organic, certified by EcoCert ICO.
Our HPF MicroGreens now have their own website and Facebook page!
Check out the new website here and hpfmicrogreens facebook page here become a fan of our page!

These nutrient dense little veggies can be purchased not only at our Farm Store, but at Whole Foods Market, Shop & Save Market, and Blue Goose Market, all located in the greater Chicagoland area.

There is so much about the Farm that keeps us busy througout the year - whether it's our long harvest seasons, our wedding season May - October, or our Farm Dinner series. All of it brings us joy, but being able to stop and take a moment at the end of a long day and take in the beauty of the farm, makes it very easy to be thankful for everything we have here. All the people who put everything they have into their department, the Farm Store, our CSA members, and Mother Nature herself - we are grateful for them.
