About Heritage Prairie Farm

Located just outside of Chicago, near Elburn, Geneva, and St. Charles, Illinois, Heritage Prairie Farm is a working organic farm, wedding venue, and gathering place rooted in a love for the land and the experiences it creates.

Since 2006, our farm has provided the local community and area restaurants with fresh, Certified Organic produce and microgreens. As a four-season farm, we grow with the rhythm of the seasons—from leafy greens in the spring and tomatoes in the summer to beets in the fall—while our greenhouses allow us to continue producing fresh food throughout the winter months.

As the farm has grown, so has the way we welcome people to experience it. Since opening our wedding venue in 2010, we've believed a wedding venue should never stop evolving. Every season, we invest in the property, preserve its natural beauty, and thoughtfully create and enhance spaces so each generation of couples can experience something special.

That spirit of growth has always been at the heart of Heritage Prairie Farm. Over the years, we have continued to reshape and expand what we offer while staying true to the land, our agricultural roots, and the sense of community that started it all.

Today, you can experience Heritage Prairie Farm through our weddings and private events, seasonal farm events, locally grown produce, and at the Geneva French Market and Wheaton French Market.
OUR STORY
From humble beginnings and big dreams, our story started in the soil we return to every day. In just a few years, Heritage Prairie Farm grew from Certified Naturally Grown to USDA Certified Organic — a journey we're deeply proud of. We grow our produce sustainably and efficiently, always giving back to the land that gives so much to us.

As we continue to grow, so does our commitment to community. Whether you're celebrating a wedding, joining us for a farm dinner, finding us at the farmers market, or taking a class on-site, we love sharing our organic harvest with the people around us.
