As you arrive at Heritage Prairie Farm, our signature barn is a prominent visual staple across the grounds. Home to our covered ceremony space, this iconic structure is a staple both inside and out for your wedding day photos.
The barn provides ample space for beautiful photos with your partner and friends, from the wooden wall on the southwest edge, to the sparkle lights inside the ceremony space. If you're looking for a signature HPF look, then make sure you fit the barn into your photo locations!
Signature Shot
The front of the barn greets you with its signature black & white façade dappled with trees & landscaping. It's a great space to take family photos after the ceremony, or cozy up with your partner for some pastoral couples portraits. In the spring time, the magnolia and apple trees burst with blooms for a stunning foreground.
Romantic Ceremony
Serving as the covered ceremony space, the back space of the barn has been renovated into the perfect romantic spot for ceremonies on cool-weather or rainy days. The twinkle lights lend the perfect cozy lighting complemented by the sun pouring through the west-facing wall. Whether your style is simple, boho, classic, or done up to the nines, we've seen the barn transform into many stylistic expressions. For those that are concerned about inclement weather on their big day, the barn is a great backup location for your ceremony and just a few steps away from the reception tent.
The Barn Wall
With its weathered & worn wood, the barn walls on the south & west side of the barn are a favorite space for photos. It's also a great space to park the vintage GMC truck for a photo op, or to set up some vintage furniture for lounging during cocktail hour.
