Organic Spring CSA
Ready for some delicious spring vegetables that will get you ready for the summer? The Heritage Prairie Farm Spring CSA is a wonderful way to support your local farmer. You and your family will also receive the benefits of delicious veggies at your finger tips. By investing into a CSA share, you will experience the joys and, yes, even the concerns of your local farm. When you join Heritage Prairie Farm’s Spring CSA, you are showing your support for our local farm.
At Heritage Prairie Farm we take pride in growing our own Certified Organic Produce. All of Heritage Prairie Farm’s Organic CSA boxes are filled with USDA Certified Organic Vegetables straight from our Farm in Elburn, IL. Pick-up for the Spring CSA will take place on Saturdays in the HPF Farm Store located at 2N308 Brundige Road, Elburn, IL 60119. We also offer pick-ups at the Wheaton French Market. Pick-Up Location depends on selection in the drop-down menu.
CSA Members receive 10% off monthly Farm Dinner tickets. Upon starting the Spring CSA season members will also get weekly farm updates with special CSA recipes to show you different ways to use your new veggies!
The 2019 Spring CSA will begin approximately on May 4th.
A typical Spring CSA box may include beets, radishes, lettuce mix, kohlrabi, turnips, kale, chard, spinach, broccoli, cabbage.
Our Spring Share is a whole bushel. Depending on your use and love of veggies, this is typically enough to feed 4 people or 2 serious vegetable lovers.
Weekly Pick-Ups: Saturday Farm Store Pick-Up OR Saturday Wheaton French Market Pick-Up OR Sunday Geneva French Market Pick-Up.
Please Note: Heritage Prairie Farm will do their best to offer a wide variety of fresh, organic, and chemical-free produce. Please understand that there is always a certain risk involved in farming. Although it is rare, crop failure can occur. Additionally, please understand that the given dates are subject to adjustment based on Mother Nature.
