End of Summer Pickle

Growing season is winding down.  You now have a nice hodgepodge of vegetables and want to put them to good use.  What to do?  Well make a pickle of course!

Crunchy white cauliflower, tangy green tomatoes, peppers, green beans and perhaps a squash – all veggies are welcome to join in the party.

Feel free to bring along your own assortment from your garden or market.  I will also provide lots of options.

We will be chopping and slicing, so please bring an apron, knife and cutting board.

DATE: Tuesday,October 9, 2018
TIME: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
PLACE: Heritage Prairie Farm, 2N308 Brundige Road, Elburn, IL
COST: $30– includes all ingredients and take home a quart of pickles
