We will teach you to make your own
• fresh churned butter
• compound butters (butter blended with sweet or savory ingredients)
• golden ghee
Starting with a gallon of fresh milk, we will walk you through several techniques that will produce delicious fresh churned butter, sweet and savory compound butters and ghee.
Ghee which is a staple in many Indian households, and popular now with Paleo diets, is clarified butter that is cooked to remove all water and milk solids. The end result is a nutty flavored cooking fat.
